Owner: Long Run Creek Properties, LLC

Environmental Concerns

  1. New culvert is less than 18' and already exhibiting damage due to runoff volume
  2. Over 100 karst terrain locations (some with diameters ranging from 30 ft to 120 ft!)
  3. Developer previously backed out of DRO due to environmental concerns
  4. Location is entirely in the DRO and needing much more protection, not less

    Traffic Concerns

These are the Traffic Impact Study results for the exact same roadways. There has been no development and nothing else approved. Broad Run Rd northbound would have been a "B" in 2028 with "No Build" but the developer said the 433 dwellings will increase the wait time at the intersection by just 4 seconds. However, now, that same intersection will be an "F" in 2032 with a wait time of over 2 minutes!

Four years later and the wait time has increased by 1100%...with no new developments!

Roadway is not 18'. Details matter, especially when lives are at risk.

    Metro Louisville's "checklist".
